Northern Gateway Community,
Thank you so much for your involvement in 2018, we accomplished a lot! From the Northern Gateway Soccer Clinic in August, to the Northern Gateway Working Sessions, Focus Groups, and Small Business Open House we want to thank you for your participation. This new year brings plenty of opportunities for more community involvement and feedback from you. Here are a couple of events already in the pipeline for 2019.
On January 15th, 2019 the SBDC is hosting a FREE Commercial Lease Workshop led by two attorneys at the Langley Park Multi-Service Center. See the flyer below for more information.
From January to February 22nd 2019 you can sign up children from grades 1-6 to the Northern Gateway Soccer Club for FREE at the Langley Park Community Center OR the Rollingcrest-Chillum Community Center. The Northern Gateway CDC will also be registering children at the Langley Park Multi-Service Center on Mondays and Wednesdays. See the flyer for more information.
Lastly, the Redevelopment Authority is currently accepting applications for the Commercial Property Improvement Program. The deadline is February 15th at 2pm. Links to the application and guidelines are below:
The Northern Gateway CDC is also creating a master calendar with important dates such as civic association meetings, trainings, deadlines, and Northern Gateway community events. It will be found under the resources tab for your convenience. We can’t wait to see you in the New Year 2019!
